Officials confirmed for Shrewsbury Town trip

16 April 2022

Andrew Kitchen has been appointed referee for Rovers’ clash with Shrewsbury Town on Monday.

The Durham official has taken charge of 27 matches this term, with the majority coming in Sky Bet League One and League Two. He has issued 68 yellow cards and two red across those games.

This will be his second time officiating a Rovers game this season and overall, having only been appointed to the EFL as a referee last summer.

He took charge of October’s 2-1 win over MK Dons at the Eco-Power Stadium.

Kitchen will be assisted by Paul Stonier and Ian Smedley on Monday while Mark Jones has been assigned fourth official duties.
