First cohort of charities sign up to Charity 100

We are delighted to welcomed are first cohort of charities into the Charity 100 scheme.

Club Doncaster is delighted to welcome the first 11 charities who will be joining us at tier four of our Charity 100 initiative. Thanks go to Keepmoat Homes for their support so far.

PARTIALLY SIGHTED SOCIETY

A national charity that works with anyone living with sight loss. They provide specialist services that help you use the most of your remaining vision.

SANDS UNITED

Sands United is a football team that offers a unique way for days and other bereaved family members to come together through a shared love of sport and find a support network where they feel at ease talking about their greif.

AUTISM PLUS

Local Doncaster charity that supports adults and young people with autism, learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

EVES TRUST

Money raised by Eves Trust goes towards helping create a special memory, or grant a Wish, for both patient and families affected by terminal and serious Cancer conditions.

YORKSHIRE AIR AMBULANCE

To help keep this responsive life-saving service in the air, Yorkshire Air Ambulance require donations to keep them going.

CANCER RESEARCH UK - DONCASTER BRANCH

A charity shop located in Doncaster City centre, all monies raised go towards finding a cure for Cancer.

VICTORIA CROSS GRAVE REPAIRS

A local charity that repair the graves of ex-servicemen and women.

FIRE FLY

Doncaster-based charity that provides support and free transport to local cancer patients to regional treatment hospitals.

FORGET ME NOT

A group for people grieving from the loss of someone from dementia, or for support of those who are caring for someone living with dementia.

Forget Me Not has recently launched, and does not have a website. But, information and contact requirements can be done via their Facebook page HERE. 

SINCERE SUPPORT

A charity launched by former Rovers star Steve Lister aims to support those families who have sick children in hospital, or who have sadly been bereaved. 

PEOPLE FOCUSED GROUP (PFG)

The PFG brings people together across Doncaster to help people with learning difficulties and mental health problems.
