George Miller is looking forward to testing himself against Northampton Town.
The forward thinks Rovers are coming out of a tough run of opening fixtures in a strong position.
He said: “Northampton will be a good mark for where we are now. We are happy with how we have fared so far, but there is room for improvement.
“We have had a tough start to the campaign, but we’re doing well so far. It’s good to get these games out of the way early. We must keep grinding through the games.
“Every team has a chance to go up and everyone is vying for promotion.”
The 24-year-old has been impressed by what he has seen from Rovers so far this season, but believes the team still has more to give.
He added: “Anyone can beat anyone in League Two. It’s a scrap and you have to battle your way into the game.
“We’ve done this so far, and eventually our quality will start to shine through, but we can’t complain with the points return.”
