Declan Bourne will be the man in the middle when Rovers take on Stockport County in Sky Bet League Two on Tuesday night.
The Nottinghamshire-based official was added to the EFL list of referees ahead of the 2020/21 campaign, and refereed his first Rovers game that season - a 2-1 home win over Plymouth Argyle.
A 2-0 victory over Crewe Alexandra was one of 24 games Bourne took charge of last season, handing out 97 yellow cards and two reds over the course of the campaign.
He will be assisted by Daniel Woodward and Lewis Raper at the Eco-Power Stadium, Stephen Wade is the fourth official.
