STAFF JOIN THE ACADEMY

Rovers have bolstered their staffing ranks with the additions of Charlie Miall, Craig Collins and Harry Hurst as head of player care, head of performance analysis and education and head of sports science respectively.

Charlie arrives in the newly-created position that will see him work closely with players across all age groups in ensuring they are looked after.

Craig arrives from Club Doncaster Foundation where he was a sports tutor and spent time volunteering as a performance analysis under Ryan Simpson.

Harry joins the club from Bradford City where he was a first-team sports scientist in Mark Hughes' backroom team.

YORKSHIRE YOUTH CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Rovers U12s are going strong in the Yorkshire Youth Champions League as they are second in their group, level on points with Leeds United who are top, but behind on goal difference. They are six points clear of Barnsley in third and nine points ahead of Rotherham United who are at the summit of their group.

Lead youth foundation phase coach Adam Pilgrim, and founder of the Yorkshire Youth Champions League, said: "I am really pleased with how the competition is going, and particularly pleased with how our U12s have been performing overall in the competition.

"We had a stutter over at Leeds the other week where we weren't at the races, but that's what this competition is all about.

"Hopefully the boys will take the lessons from that night and go into the remaining games with the right mindset, which hopefully help them get over the line and into the semi-finals."

U10s FUTSAL TOURNAMENT

Rovers U10s will head down to Bedfordshire on Saturday, December 17 to play in a Futsal competition where they will compete against Arsenal, MK Dons and Watford.

FARIS WINS GOAL OF THE MONTH

U18s second-year scholar Faris Khan won the LFE's goal of the month competition, beating seven other contenders to the reward. His goal was scored away at Lincoln City in the EFL Youth Alliance League.

Congratulations, Faris!
