Belles to play at Eco-Power Stadium

1 December 2022

Doncaster Rovers Belles are looking to celebrate an incredible year for women’s football as they host Lincoln City Women at the Eco-Power Stadium on December 11.

And we are looking to pack the stands with the next generation of supporters of the women’s game.

All school children across the city will be offered the opportunity to watch the game free of charge - when accompanied by a paying adult - and mark the end of a memorable year which saw England win the European Championship.

Nick Buxton’s Belles side are looking to secure success of their own this season with promotion back to the third tier of the women’s game and face a tough test against the Lady Imps.

Belles chief executive Russ Green said: “The popularity of women’s football is only growing and we want to show that Doncaster remains at the heart of the game.

“The Belles were pioneering, incredibly successful across the decades and we are all incredibly proud to be a part of such a historic club. While more recent times have been difficult, we are back on strong foundations and determined to regain our place among the elite in this country.

“The Lionesses triumph in the summer brought everyone together in celebration of the women’s game and we want to continue that as the end of the year approaches.

“Young fans are the lifeblood of the game so let’s make sure the stands are packed for this one and cheering on the women.”

Tickets are on sale now, priced at £5 for adults and £1 for 17s and under.

Season ticket holders at Doncaster Rovers and Doncaster RLFC can buy adult tickets for £3 while junior season ticket holders will gain free entry. Codes will be sent out via email to all season ticket holders to redeem for the ticket offer.

Tickets will be available to purchase on the day but will be at full price for all.

Parking at the Eco-Power Stadium for the game can be booked for £1.50.
