Rovers supporters who planned to donate to the foodbank collection prior to the postponed Harrogate Town game can now drop their items off at the Club Doncaster Box Office.
As part of our Charity 100 programme, we are looking for donations as we consider those facing the brunt of the challenges of the cost of living crisis this festive period.
Following the collection, we will deliver the donated items to Doncaster Foodbank, operated by The Trussell Trust, during Christmas week.
We are appealing for those who planned to attend the game to add a few extra items of non-perishable food and essentials to your shopping trollies and bring along a bag which can be handed over at the Box Office on Monday December 19 and Tuesday December 20.
Doncaster Foodbank is currently short of the following items:
- Washing-up liquid
- Jars of pasta sauce
- Small jars of coffee
- Jars of jam and peanut butter
- Dried milk
- Tins of fruit
- Tins of spaghetti
- Tins of rice pudding
The Foodbank is well stocked with beans and pasta.
Sponsored by our partners Keepmoat, the Charity 100 programme has provided assistance and support to more than 70 good causes since its creation in April.
