Adam Herczeg will be the man in the middle when Rovers travel to take on Newport County in Sky Bet League Two this weekend.
The Durham-based official was added to the EFL list of referees at the start of this season and refereed Rovers’ 2-1 win at Lincoln City in the Papa John’s Trophy in September.
In total, he has taken charge of 16 games so far in the 2022/23 campaign, handing out 47 yellow cards and two reds in the process.
Herczeg will be assisted by Jack Clench and Daniel Flynn at Rodney Parade, Declan O’Shea is the fourth official.
