Joseph Olowu grabbed Rovers’ second goal in the win over Accrington Stanley and netted himself the nod from supporters for the man of the match award in the process.
The centre back took 41 per cent of the vote following the 2-0 triumph on Tuesday night, seeing off competition from goalkeeper Jonathan Mitchell, midfielder Matt Smith and captain Tommy Rowe.
Olowu was excellent in defence in the first half in particular and went on to make sure of the win when poking home a shot three minutes from time, claiming his fourth goal of the season.
Mitchell finished second in the vote after producing a string of fine saves to keep Accrington at bay, including acrobatically tipping over the bar from a Michael Nottingham effort.
Narrowly behind in third was Smith, with the Arsenal loanee delivering a typically tireless performance in the middle of the park alongside fourth placed Rowe.
