27 February 2022

It was never in doubt!

Tommy Rowe won the supporters' man of the match vote by a landslide after inspiring Rovers' impressive second half comeback at AFC Wimbledon.

The skipper scored twice in three minutes to help Rovers roar back from two goals down and earn a valuable point at the Cherry Red Records Stadium, putting the icing on the cake of a superb performance from the veteran.

And it saw him claim 87 per cent of the voting in our man of the match pole.

Second on the list was goalkeeper Jonathan Mitchell, who produced a stunning save deep into stoppage time to make sure of the point.

Defender Ollie Younger was third after a highly resolute performance while Kyle Knoyle - who provided the assists for both Rowe goals - took fourth.
