Rovers centre back Bobby Faulkner has been impressing during his loan spell at Frickley Athletic.
The 17-year-old signed a professional contract with Rovers in November 2021 and headed out on loan to the seventh-tier side in January 2022.
He has been voted the club’s man of the match twice in Frickley’s defeats to Liversedge and Yorkshire Amateur who were strong opposition, but Bobby held his own to keep the score lines respectable.
Frickley coach Gavin Saxby said: “Young Bobby at 17 is a throwback. He has been unbelievable and if he carries on like that he will have a great chance of making it in the professional game.
“He shows great desire and determination.”
He narrowly missed out on player of the month for January 2022.
