Glyn Hodges departs Rovers

25 February 2022

Set-piece coach Glyn Hodges has departed Rovers to take up the assistant manager's role at Sky Bet League Two side Bradford City.

Hodges makes the move to the Bantams to link up with the newly appointed Mark Hughes, after almost a month in his role with Rovers.

The 58-year-old links up with Hughes once again after working with him in the Wales setup, as well as in domestic football with Blackburn, Manchester City and Fulham among others.

The process of replacing Hodges has already started with Gary McSheffrey speaking to different candidates with a view to strengthening his coaching staff.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Glyn for his efforts and wish him all the best for his future coaching career.
