Tom Reeves will be the man in the middle for Rovers’ Sky Bet League One match away to Portsmouth.
Reeves started officiating in 2018 at National League level and has gradually worked his way up the pyramid.
His first match as a League One referee was in October 2021 during a seven goal thriller between Wycombe Wanderers and Morecambe.
So far this season, Reeves has refereed 26 games across all competitions and has given out 90 yellow cards and four reds.
This will be his first match involving Rovers.
He will be assisted by linesmen Alan Clayton and Paul Stonier and the fourth official will be Ben Toner.
