Will Finnie has been appointed the referee for Rovers’ Sky Bet League One visit to Sunderland.
In 23 games across all competitions in the 2021/22 season, Finnie has awarded 49 yellow cards and three red.
He has officiated one Rovers match this season. That was Rovers’ 1-0 victory against Morecambe in September 2021. Finnie is yet to officiate a game with Sunderland this season.
Stephen Wade and Bradley Hall will run the lines at the Stadium of Light and Matthew Dicicco will has been appointed the fourth official for the match.
