Joseph Olowu spoke to the media ahead of a visit from in-form Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
The young centre-back spoke about the importance of consistency and the need to back up a good result with another.
On facing Sheffield Wednesday:
“We want to put in a good performance and back it up with a result.
“We know they’ve got a lot of quality players throughout the team and it’s going to be for us to try and keep those players as quiet as possible throughout the game.
“Fans will want us to be on the front foot but there will be times when we need to soak up pressure and try to hit them on the break.
“We trust that we’ve got enough quality going forward to hurt teams in this league.”
On finding consistency:
“We still have 13 games to play and lots of points to play for.
“For us as a group, we need to remain as calm and levelheaded as possible and go into every game knowing that we need to produce. We can’t do it one week and then fall off completely the next.
“We need to back it up in the next game, and then back it up again.
“We are a young squad, but it’s for us to step up and show what we’re made of.”
