Rovers players joined the Club Doncaster Foundation boot drive by donating their old boots to people who need them most.
The Foundation have teamed up with Amnesty International to use the power of football to help people seeking asylum feel welcome in Doncaster. While also providing people with a way of socialising and keeping fit which helps with mental and physical well-being.
Having fled their home country for fear of persecution, people seeking asylum in Doncaster often arrive with very little and don’t have the equipment they need – such as boots and shinpads – to enjoy football sessions.
By donating a pair of boots, trainers, or sports clothing, you could make a real difference to the people who need it most.
You can drop your items at Foundation Fitness (located at the Eco-Power Stadium) during their opening hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7am-9pm
Friday: 7am – 8pm
Saturday: 8am-1pm
