Rovers U18s will entertain Scunthorpe United U18s for their first match of 2022.
It has been more than a month since the U18s' last competitive game. They lost on that occasion 2-1 to Lincoln City, despite going ahead through Jack Goodman in the first half.
In the reverse fixture, Rovers came out on top of a five-goal thriller in August 2021 beating the Iron 3-2.
Heading into the New Year, both teams are in a similar vein of form with only a point separating both sides in the league table. Similarly, Rovers and Scunthorpe have won two of their last five league games.
The match will take place at Club Doncaster Sports Park on January Saturday 8 at 11am.
