Stadium Stars Nursery receives 'good' Ofsted rating

10 January 2022

The Stadium Stars Day Nursery received an overall rating of good in its annual Ofsted inspection recently.

The nursery is based at the Eco-Power Stadium and is for children from three months up to five years of age.

Having opened in 2017, it has now been inspected twice by Ofsted, with the aim of the inspections to ensure that organisations providing education, training and care services in England do so to a high standard for children and students.

The nursery inspections on both occasions have received strong ‘GOOD’ inspection grades.

Nursery owner Marie Townrow said: “The result is fantastic. The team work so hard to make the nursery the best it can be here at Club Doncaster.

“The result shows the commitment, experience and determination from all staff that work with us at Stadium Stars.

“We wouldn’t have been able to do this without the support from our partners. So a big thank you to staff from around Club Doncaster and colleagues from the Doncaster Council Early Years team.”

The nursery invited many parents to speak with the Ofsted Inspector and share their thoughts and opinions.

The Ofsted report read: “Parents welcome how happy and eager to learn their children are. They appreciate the good guidance the staff provide and the very detailed feedback they frequently receive, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Parents strongly recommend the nursery and say that their children are well prepared for their future learning.”

The nursery is open five days a week, from 7.30am until 6pm for 51 weeks a year. The nursery offers places for funded two, three and four year-olds.
