Following the promotion of the post holder, we are looking to recruit a transition coach, specifically focusing on the U16 team, but with strong links to the U18 team, and the journey of our youth development players as they take their journey into full time football. This post is a part time permanent contract.
The successful candidate should have a demonstrable and evidential track record of coaching youth and academy players, preferably within the latter stages of coaching in the youth development phase in an elite environment. The ability to quickly develop professional relationships and ensure effective and smooth transition for players in a key stage of their footballing journey.
Applicants should possess a UEFA A, and FA advanced Youth Award outfield coaching qualifications. Applicants via CV should be able to demonstrate within their application and at interview how they have managed players and game situations within the youth elite game, and how they have incorporated all areas of the multi-disciplinary team into youth development programmes.
Reporting to the Head of Coaching, alongside the Head of Youth Development Phase, the person will be in place after a period of transition, ensuring that player development and the 2022 / 2023 season is planned to give players the best possible experience to grow and develop their professional journey.
