An opportunity has arisen for an exceptional candidate to fulfil the role as a full-time physiotherapist within the elite senior sports teams. This new and additional role will see the successful candidate will be a part of the medical team who are responsible for the physiotherapy activity across the football club, mentoring wider club medical staff already in place in other areas of the business. The main of this role however will involve spending a significant time with the senior male team with the main physiotherapist working as a part of our backroom staff to ensure that our players are given all opportunities to reach their potential on the field.
We are looking for an experienced and Chartered registered candidate, who has experience within the professional football environment, and able to demonstrate their understanding in assessing, rehabilitating and dealing with the medical needs of our players at all times
Core hours will be in line with the professional squads' training calendar. However, the successful candidate should be available for evening and weekend work where this is required as dictated by the match schedules.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to communicate effectively with players, staff and senior management staff.
