Match guide: Huddersfield friendly

15 July 2022

Rovers return to action at the Eco-Power Stadium for the first home friendly of 2022.

Heat warning

With heat levels expected to rise over the weekend, we would like to remind supporters that free tap water is available from the food kiosks.

We advise supporters to wear sun protection.

Stands open

Due to projected crowd figures for both home pre-season friendlies against Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United, the decision has been taken to close the James Coppinger West Stand for both games.

The SMTXtra East Stand and the Polypipe South Stand will remain open with tickets transferred to there.

If you have already bought a ticket in the West Stand, you will need to collect your revised ticket from the Club Doncaster Box Office prior to the game.

Car parking

Hospitality are advised to park in car park one, with Silver Plus members can park in two or three depending on their allocated pass, and supporters who have pre-paid should park in car park two. There will be no pay on the day car parking in car park two for this match.

Anyone reporting to the Club Doncaster Academy should park in car park three, with supporters also able to park in there.

Car parking is expected to be limited so please arrive early to secure your space.

Programmes

A joint programme for both the Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United friendlies will be available from the Club Store and Box Office and will be priced at £2.

Belle Vue Bar

Please be aware that the Belle Vue Bar will be closed post-match due to prior booking for the facilities.

Instead, there will be post-match drinks and entertainment in the SMTXtra East Stand until 6pm.

Club Doncaster Store

The Club Doncaster Store will be open from 10am on matchday up until kick-off, and for 20 minutes post-match.

Soccer sight

Soccer sight commentary will be available for the game and will be delivered by Harry Smith.

To get your set please contact the nearest steward on the day.

Pyrotechnics

Doncaster Rovers would like to remind all supporters that the use of pyrotechnic devices is strictly forbidden.

The club has a firm stance on the use of pyrotechnics, whether it be at the Eco-Power Stadium or at any other EFL ground: they can not and will not be tolerated.

Facemasks

Facemasks are optional for supporters and staff. Please be respectful of people's decisions.
