We are delighted to have formed an informal association with Andy's Man Club – a national men’s suicide prevention charity.
Andy's Man Club offers free-to-attend talking groups where men over the age of 18 can open up about the struggles in their lives in a supportive, non-judgemental environment.
Originating as a single session in Halifax, they now have over 100 groups running across the UK. Doncaster's sessions currently take place every Monday, excluding Bank Holiday, at the Racecourse from 7pm. If you have any questions regarding attending, please email info@andysmanclub.co.uk.
As part of the developing relationship, Doncaster members of Andy's Man Club will have free use of facilities such as 5-a-side pitches and the Foundation Fitness gym as well access to Fit Rovers courses and the social café.
Club Doncaster’s chief operating officer Shaun Lockwood said: “This is only the start of what will be a fantastic relationship.
“We want to support Andy's Man Club as much as possible as we know how important it is to get men talking about their mental health problems.”
