Peter Wright has been appointed referee for Rovers’ trip to Cheltenham Town on Saturday.
The Merseyside official has taken charge of 26 matches this season, with the majority coming across Sky Bet League One and League Two. In total he has issued 76 yellow cards and two red this term.
Earlier this season he took charge of Rovers’ 2-0 defeat at Burton Albion in November.
Since becoming an EFL official in 2018, Wright has refereed six Rovers games in total. Of those six, Rovers won one and drew one.
Andrew Aylott and Kevin Howick will assist Wright on Saturday with Ravel Cheosiaua named fourth official duties.
