Striker Mipo Odubeko has been called up for international duty with Republic of Ireland U21.
The 19-year-old will be part of Jim Crawford’s squad for the UEFA U21 European Championship qualifier against Sweden on March 29. Crawford has been present at recent Rovers games in order to watch Odubeko.
Due to his call up, he will miss Rovers’ clash with Charlton Athletic on March 26.
It is the first time the striker has been called into the U21 squad.
His last international honours came for the U17 group, for whom he featured in 2019.
Odubeko - who arrived on loan from West Ham United in January - has made 11 appearances for Rovers to date.
