Rovers winger Aidan Barlow has been ruled out until the New Year with a knee injury picked up in the defeat to Colchester United last weekend.
The 22-year-old went down awkwardly in the second-half of the game at the JobServe Community Stadium, and was taken off the field on a stretcher.
Scans have revealed that Barlow avoided major damage but is set for a spell on sidelines over the next few weeks.
Rovers are awaiting scan results on winger Luke Molyneux after he was also forced off with a knee problem in the same game.
Defender Ollie Younger is continuing his recovery from a long-term hamstring injury suffered before the start of the campaign.
Younger has been straight-line running in recent weeks as he continues to follow the plan set for him by the club’s medical staff.
