Kyle Knoyle nominated for Sky Bet League Two player of the month award

8 November 2022

Rovers defender Kyle Knoyle has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two player of the month award for October.

The right-back has been a consistent performer this season and contributed with four assists throughout the month.

Having set up strikes for Kieran Agard and George Miller in the 2-1 win at Rochdale, Knoyle put in two superb crosses for Harrison Biggins’ headed goals against Leyton Orient and Gillingham respectively.

The nomination caps off off a memorable month for the 26-year-old, after he and his partner Daisy welcomed their baby girl Dahlia to the world on October 28.

Knoyle is up against Wimbeldon’s Josh Davison, Paddy Madden of Stockport and Swindon Town’s Jonny Williams, with the winner announced at 6am on Friday November 11.
