Geoff Eltringham will be the man in the middle when Rovers take on King’s Lynn Town in the Emirates FA Cup first round this weekend.
The County Durham-based official was added to the EFL list of referees at the start of the 2009/10 campaign, and first took charge of a Rovers game in a 2-1 defeat to Blackpool in October 2011.
He has overseen five games so far this season, handing out 16 yellow cards and one red in the process.
Eltringham will be assisted by Grant Taylor and Stephen Wade at the Eco-Power Stadium. Matthew Dicicco is the fourth official.
