Seb Stockbridge will be the man in the middle when Rovers take on Stevenage in Sky Bet League Two on Tuesday night.
The Tyne-based official was added to the EFL list of referees ahead of the 2013/14 campaign, and first took charge of a Rovers game in October 2014. Goals from James Coppinger and Nathan Tyson secured a 2-1 win at Scunthorpe United that day.
He has officiated 11 games so far this season, with the majority coming in League One, handing out 30 yellow cards and two reds in the process.
Stockbridge will be assisted by Bradley Hall and Paul Stonier at the Eco-Power Stadium, Darren Drysdale will be the fourth official.
