Officials confirmed for Hartlepool United trip

7 September 2022

Andy Haines has been appointed referee for Rovers’ clash with Hartlepool United on Saturday.

The Tyne & Wear official has taken charge of six matches this term, with the majority coming in Sky Bet League One. He has issued 14 yellow cards and two red across those games.

Haines is no stranger to the club, having refereed 19 Rovers games over his career, stretching back to 2008.

His most recent game involving Rovers was last season’s 2-0 win over Accrington Stanley at the Eco-Power Stadium. Of the 19 matches, Rovers won six, with seven draws.

Haines will be assisted on Saturday by Chris Isherwood and Graeme Fyvie while Blake Antrobus has been assigned fourth official duties.
