Carl Boyeson will be the man in the middle when Rovers take on Crawley Town in Sky Bet League Two this weekend.
The East Yorkshire-based official has been an EFL referee for 20 years, having taken charge of his first game in August 2002.
The first time he oversaw a league game involving Rovers was in January 2004, when Dave Penney’s side ran out 5-0 winners over Leyton Orient at Belle Vue.
Boyeson has refereed three games so far this season, handing out 10 yellow cards in the process.
He will be assisted by Paul Evans and Mark Cunliffe at the Eco-Power Stadium, Thomas Harty is the fourth official.
