Officials confirmed for Grimsby Town clash

Alan Young has been appointed referee for Rovers’ clash with Grimsby Town on Easter Bank Holiday Monday.

The Cambridgeshire official has taken charge of 29 matches this term, with the majority coming in Sky Bet League Two. He has issued 121 yellow cards and eight red across those games.

This will be his second outing of the season in charge of a Rovers game, having refereed January's 1-0 defeat at leaders Leyton Orient.

Dating back to 2018, he has offiated seven matches involving Rovers, who have yet to win a game under his stewardship. 

Young will be assisted by Joe Simpson and Graeme Fyvie on Monday while Abbas Khan has been assigned fourth official duties.
