Dean Whitestone will be the man in the middle when Rovers travel to Gillingham in Sky Bet League Two on Good Friday.
The Northamptonshire-based official was added to the EFL list of referees ahead of the 2006/07 season, and first took charge of Rovers in the Emirates FA Cup against Brentford, where Lewis Guy scored the winner in a 1-0 win at Griffin Park.
He has officiated Rovers on 12 occasions since then, and so far this season has taken charge of 29 games, handing out 87 yellow cards and three reds in the process.
Whitestone will be assisted by Ian Cooper and Graham Kane at the MEMS Priestfield Stadium, Sunny Singh Gill is the fourth official.
