Head coach Danny Schofield was delighted with the manner in which players stepped up to the challenge against Gillingham and wants even more from them against Grimsby Town.
Injuries have bit the squad hard in recent weeks, leaving responsibility at the feet of numerous players who have had limited minutes for much of the campaign.
Despite the defeat, Rovers were improved at Gillingham on Good Friday and Schofield has urged his available players to push on further when Grimsby Town visit on Monday afternoon.
