Individuals wishing to travel to away matches on coaches operated by the Doncaster Rovers Supporters’ Club must purchase an annual membership to the organisation.
Following consultation with partners, the Supporters’ Club have decided to implement the measure in order to ensure the best possible safety and behavioural standards are achieved as well as trying to improve the travelling experience.
Annual Supporters’ Club memberships are £7 for adults and £5 for concessions, which includes over 60s and under 16s.
Supporters’ Club Main Branch chair Len South said: “We're keen to ensure that those Rovers supporters who choose to travel with the Supporters Club have the best experience possible.
"The atmosphere on the coaches is always brilliant and adds a really enjoyable element to away match days. Having met with our partners over the summer, it was agreed that this new measure was the best way to protect the enjoyment levels of everyone. It is a nominal fee each year but membership will allow us to better manage coach travel.”
Those under 16 wishing to travel on coaches must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over.
Under fives can travel on coaches for free but must have a valid annual membership also.
