Cliff Byrne expects new signing Modou Faal will get supporters off their seats during his loan spell with Rovers.
The 20-year-old striker has signed a season-long loan deal from West Bromwich Albion and assistant manager Byrne believes Rovers have an exciting young talent on their hands.
“We’re very excited to have him coming in,” Byrne said. “Firstly he’s going to bring competition. I think he’ll excite the fans with how he plays and how he approaches the game.
“He’s got goals in him, which is a big factor in the manager looking to bring him in. He’ll have to come in and get his place in the team like everyone else.”
