Scott Tallis has been appointed referee for Rovers’ clash with Harrogate Town on Saturday, August 5.
Tallis was one of eight referees to be promoted to the EFL for this season, having previously officiated at National League level.
Due to that fact, this will be his first time taking charge of a game involving Rovers.
Last season, the Birmingham official issued 113 yellow cards and five reds across 28 matches.
Tallis will be assisted by Lewis Raper and Ivan Stankovic on Saturday while Jack Forder has been assigned fourth official duties.
