Kirsty Dowle has been appointed referee for Rovers’ clash with Morecambe on December 16.
This will be the 32-year-old’s first ever Football League match as referee, but she has taken charge of three Bristol Street Motors Trophy ties this season.
She took charge of the Women's FA Cup final in 2022 and the FAWSL Cup final earlier this year, as well as being added to the FIFA international list of officials in 2020.
The Kent official has taken charge of 12 matches this term, with the majority coming in the National League. She has issued 42 yellow cards and no reds across those games.
Dowle has yet to referee a game involving Rovers.
She will be assisted by Daniel Woodward and Abbas Khan on Saturday while Neil Hair has been assigned fourth official duties.
