The festivities continued beyond the big day for Young Reds members as they enjoyed Donny Dog's Christmas party prior to the win over Rochdale last month.
The young Rovers fans received a visit from Father Christmas and his special helper Santa Paws, as well as the first team squad. They then took part in party games, danced to Christmas tunes and received Rovers gifts.
Rovers defender Tom Anderson said: "It was great to meet a lot of our young fans over Christmas. We've massively missed it over the last few years because of the pandemic.
"The kids looked like they were having a great time and it was a big boost for us all before we went out on the pitch.
The event was originally set to take place following the scheduled game against Harrogate Town on December 17 but was moved following postponement of the fixture.
The party was an exclusive event for Young Reds members, the junior membership scheme in partnership with Doncaster College.
