Two food and drink venues within the Club Doncaster organisation have been handed five star hygiene ratings following recent inspections.
The catering facilities at the Hoober Homes Elite Performance Centre at Cantley Park where Rovers senior and Academy players eat following training received the classification. Standards of cleanliness and the condition of facilities plus the management of food safety were both highly rated by inspectors.
And the top rating also went to the Kiwi Cafe, which is housed within the Belle Vue Bar at the Eco-Power Stadium on Sunday mornings. The cafe offers breakfast and refreshments to those attending the Sunday Car Boot events.
Club Doncaster chief operating officer Shaun Lockwood said: "Tremendous credit must go to the management and staff of the two venues that have received top marks from hygiene inspectors.
"The training ground is the heartbeat of the football environment and Sam and Vic run an excellent operation out of the kitchen. And the Kiwi Cafe has proven to be very popular with Car Boot goers since its launch.
"We thank them all for the hard work and dedication."
