Officials confirmed for Tranmere test

18 January 2023

Andy Haines will be the man in the middle when Rovers take on Tranmere Rovers in Sky Bet League Two this weekend.

The Tyne and Wear-based official was added to the EFL list of referees at the start of the 2007/08 campaign, and first took charge of Rovers in a 2-1 win over Gillingham in March of that year, with James Coppinger and Paul Heffernan both on the scoresheet.

So far this season, he has overseen 18 matches, including a 2-1 defeat for Rovers at Hartlepool in October. In total, Haines has handed out 53 yellow cards and three reds.

He will be assisted by Ivan Stankovic and Darren Williams at the Eco-Power Stadium. Bradley Hall is the fourth official.
