The No.33 has been one of Rovers' most consistent performers since returning from an 11-month injury lay-off back in September.
He has made 18 appearances so far this season, and scored his first goal for the club in the 4-3 win over Rochdale in December.
Danny Schofield's side haven't played a league game since the defeat to league leaders Leyton Orient on January 7, after games against Crawley Town and Tranmere Rovers were both postponed.
Rovers are set to be backed by more than 1700 fans at the One Call Stadium.
