Jack Senior is hoping to see patterns of play begin to develop for Rovers as they head to Boston United for their second pre-season friendly.
The full back made his first appearance in Rovers colours in Saturday’s 3-1 win at Rossington Main - collecting an assist when Tommy Rowe headed in his well-delivered corner.
And Senior is looking for progression from himself and his teammates as they visit National League North side Boston on Tuesday evening.
“The first step is getting 45 minutes and now we’ve got a tougher test in terms of where they are in the leagues,” he said.
“I know a few people there and they’re a good outfit. They play some good stuff and it’ll be a different sort of challenge than the one we had on Saturday.
“We’re looking forward to bringing our individual and team patterns and phases of play out onto the pitch.”
