79' - PLENTY OF SUBSTITUTIONS FOR WEDNESDAY
Reece James off for Cian Flannery
Cameron Dawson off for Pierce Charles
Callum Paterson off for Eui Siqueria
Josh Windass off for Luke Cook
77' - CHANCE
Luke Molyneux sent in another free kick to the back post where Joseph Olowu had peeled off but he couldn't beat Cameron Dawson with his header.
74' - SUBSTITUTION
And another double switch for the Owls as Bailey Cadamarteri and Rio Shipston replace Barry Bannan and Will Vaulks.
72' - GOAL ROVERS!
A lovely header from Luke Molyneux!
It was a fantastic passage of play from Rovers as they refused to give up on the attack. Tommy Rowe fed the ball out wide to Tyler Roberts, who executed a brilliant step over to give him the space for the cross and he found Molyneux, who planted a header into the far corner.
70' - SUBSTITUTION
Another double switch for Wednesday as Adam Alimi-Adetoro and Sean Fusire replace Marvin Johnson and Dominic Iorfa.
67' - A LOVELY NUTMEG
Tyler Roberts has been a bundle of energy since his introduction - and he left Will Vaulks standing with a lovely nutmeg in the middle of the park that was certainly appreciated by the Rovers supporters in attendance.
64' - SUBSTITUTION
Double switch for Wednesday as George Byers and Michael Smith replace Jay Glover and Lee Gregory.
63' - BIG CHANCE
Luke Molyneux delivered in a peach of a free kick, met at the back post by Joseph Olowu. The defender's header was not clean and hit Owls keeper Cameron Dawson.
61' - SUBSTITUTION
Tyler Roberts replaces Jon Taylor.
56' - BRILLIANT BLOCK
Jack Senior denies Wednesday a goal as he dives in front of a first time strike from Josh Windass.
55' - MORE PRESSURE
Wednesday are enjoying their best spell of pressure. Josh Windass raced in at the back post to meet a cross but headed into the back of Jack Senior.
52' - VERY CLOSE
Wednesday are millimetres from taking the lead. Rovers did not deal with a high ball into the box and it sat up nicely for the on-rushing Will Vaulks, who drilled narrowly wide from the edge of the area.
46' - BACK UNDERWAY
Jon Taylor takes the kick-off and we are up and running once again.
📸 - ACTION
HT - THAT'S THE BREAK
And it is goalless at half time here at the Eco-Power Stadium.
That was a really encouraging half of football from a Rovers perspective, full of energy and intent.
45' - ADDED TIME
There will be a minimum of one minute added at the end of the first half.
37' - GREAT INTENSITY ABOUT ROVERS' APPROACH
Whether on or off the ball, there has been a real energy about Rovers in this game so far. They have closed the ball down superbly and sprung onto the front foot quickly whenever possession has been turned over.
32' - OPPORTUNITY FOR THE VISITORS
Callum Paterson sized up a shot from 20 yards but put it wide of the top corner.
23' - BIG CHANCE
Joe Ironside did brilliantly to carry the ball from half way and pass inside to Tommy Rowe who was put clear into the box for the shot, only for Reece James to slide in and block out for a corner.
18' - CHANCE AND A BRILLIANT SAVE
Rovers piled on the pressure and had Wednesday firmly on the back foot. The ball was flicked forward to Tommy Rowe who lashed a shot on goal which was batted away superbly by Wednesday keeper Cameron Dawson.
16' - SOME REALLY GOOD STUFF
Rovers are moving the ball really well in the opposition half and there's opportunities to be hand.
11' - GOOD CHANCE
The ball dropped nicely for Jon Taylor and invited the shot from 20 yards. He caught it well but sent it just off target.
8' - OFF THE LINE
New boy Tom Nixon comes to Rovers' rescue. It was an unfortunate passage of play for Rovers as an attempted clearance struck Owen Bailey and put Callum Paterson through on goal. He clipped the ball over Ian Lawlor but Nixon got back in time to make te clearance while Josh Windass fired well wide with his follow-up.
6' - DANGER
Rovers push forward with real threat down the left. Tommy Rowe cut a low pass across the box to Joe Ironside who controlled well with his back to goal, turned and saw his shot blocked.
1' - UNDERWAY
And we are up and running at the Eco-Power Stadium for the first time this summer.
BEAUTIFULLY OBSERVED
A minute's applause was held prior to kick-off in celebration of the lives of former Wednesday player and manager Trevor Francis and midfielder Chris Bart-Williams who passed away on Monday.
