A move to Rovers did not take much selling to new signing Owen Bailey.
The midfielder signed a two-year deal at the Eco-Power Stadium to become Grant McCann’s seventh summer signing - two years on from taking part in a trial with Rovers.
And the 24-year-old said he needed little convincing to join the club.
“It didn’t take much to convince me, especially with me knowing the club,” Bailey said.
“He just said that we’re hard-working and we just want to excite people and get promoted.
“He gave me some specifics about my position and where he sees me fitting in. Everything he said was basically exactly how I want to play and how I want to impact teams.”
