George Broadbent is determined to firmly establish himself at senior level as making his summer switch to Rovers.
The midfielder joined from Sheffield United at the start of the month and is looking to make a big impact at the Eco-Power Stadium this season after spending last term in the National League with Boreham Wood.
He said: "I've had a couple of loan moves and I've been in the league before with Rochdale. I was in the National League last season and I just felt this was a great opportunity for me to show what I can do and hopefully have a successful season."
