Following the unveiling of new stadium catering partner VCP, Rovers can confirm the club will move to a cashless catering operation for the new season.
The move comes following investment into both a new EPOS till system and card processing facilities across all concourses and stadium bars. The two new additions are aligned, ensuring a one transaction purchase which will reduce service times.
Club Doncaster chief operating officer Shaun Lockwood said: “The biggest item of feedback we received about previous stadium catering operations was the speed and quality of service.
“The investment in both new EPOS still systems and the introduction of a new cashless operating system will have a major impact on reducing service time, as staff will only need to input a transaction once, not twice as historically has been the case.
“In addition to the changes, VCP and ourselves are currently undergoing a recruitment drive for new catering staff to work on match days and enquiries should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.”
