Joe Ironside insists Rovers should only be focused on themselves as they prepare for a new campaign in Sky Bet League Two.
The race for promotion in 2023/24 is expected to be a fiercely competitive one but Ironside - who joined on a three-year deal earlier this month - says Rovers should not be concerned with their rivals and simply focus on achieving their own goals over the next 12 months.
"I think we just need to worry about ourselves," he said. "There's a lot of big clubs and good teams in this league but we've just got to focus on what we do and take it from there.
"This is a massive club and the way that the gaffer wants to take the club, I just want to be part of that."
