Grant McCann feels his goalkeeping department is in a good place after Louis Jones and Ben Bottomley agreed new deals with the club.
The two Academy graduates have extended their stays at the Eco-Power Stadium while Ian Lawlor has joined on a two-year contract, with McCann finalising his shotstopping team early in the off-season.
“It’s good, with Lawsy coming in and now Louis and Ben sorting their contracts out, we’re pleased and we feel that the department is good,” the Rovers manager said.
“Like any position, it’s down to the players to look to grab the shirt and impress. Pre-season will give everyone the opportunity to do that.”
