Ben Close says the players must take responsibility for the defeat to Northampton Town in Sky Bet League Two.
Rovers were beaten by a Cobblers side who score a goal in each half to take all three points at the Eco-Power Stadium.
On the performance:
“We’re disappointed to lose in the manner that we did, but when you make mistakes like we did you have to be able to react and do more than we did.
“Once the second goal went in it was always going to be difficult, but as players we have to take responsibility for the result.
“We’re not doing enough as players to create chances and score goals, that has been evident for the past few weeks in-particular.”
On playing alongside Liam Ravenhill:
“I’ve had a few partners in midfield this season and ideally it would be a consistent pair which it was before the injuries started to bite.
“Ravs has got a lot of talent and he’s getting a run in the team which is what every player at his age needs in order for them to develop.
“I think he’s done well, in his starts he’s shown that he’s combative and aggressive, but he can get on the ball and play too.”
