Kyle Hurst says Rovers are working hard to right a few wrongs when they come up against AFC Wimbledon this weekend.
Rovers are without a win in four games and are also without a goal in that period, but Hurst says the squad are giving everything to turn that form around.
On believing in themselves:
“We’re lacking consistency and that’s what we’re all striving for. It’s been a difficult run but we have to keep working hard and trying to improve.
“We believe in ourselves and the things we’re doing every day. The gaffer has a lot of faith in us and we’re keen to repay that.
“We want to create more chances and we haven’t taken the ones that have come recently. The boys know that we’ve not scored enough and it’s something we need to improve.”
On coming together as one:
“We realise that our last performance wasn’t to the standards we need them to be, and it’s down to us as players to put that right.
“Every game is a big one at this stage of the season but this one off the back of Tuesday is all about our reaction and a chance to go and get three points.
“We’ve put a run of results together and shown we can win games in different ways, so now we have to do that once again.”
